NDFD’s services cover three areas:
Emergency Responses
NDFD provides for the 24 hour life safety needs of our area through fire suppression and emergency medical services delivery. This also includes performing rescues throughout the coverage area.
Fire Safety Inspection & Education
NDFD strives to keep the community safe through the education of staff and students and by performing inspections to ensure adherence to the state fire code and University policies.
Fire Protection System Maintenance
NDFD is also responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of all fire protection systems, which include building fire alarms, water based automatic fire sprinkler
systems and specialized suppression systems for high
hazard areas.
