Health and Safety Courses
Our health and safety instructors are professionally trained through the American Heart Association (AHA) and offer a variety of courses on campus throughout the year.
We offer Heartsaver CPR/AED for the general public, parents, and teachers, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals.
COURSE INFORMATION
Heartsaver CPR/AED is a class based or blended learning format. Blended learning includes a video-based online course and instructor led skills demonstration that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive.
Blended learning courses allow you to learn on your own schedule, then demonstrate your skills to a certified instructor. Participants who successfully complete the online course and skills check will receive a certificate valid for two years.
